Simex PLB and PHD range of single-depth planers work on horizontal, vertical or sloped surfaces
SIMEX self-levelling PLB and PHD (single-depth) planers for excavators have been designed to mill pre-set sections on hard and compact surfaces. With the PLB and PHD planers you can remove the entire layer of asphalt or cement in preparation for trenching or mill deteriorated sections for later resurfacing.
With the Simex Planers you can work on horizontal, vertical or sloped surfaces and maintain constant milling depth in any condition regardless of the ground contour and the planer’s position with respect to the excavator as lateral slides on the planer automatically align to the milling surface.
PLB and PHD self-levelling planers are available in a range of models that reach a maximum planing width of 600 mm and depth of 250 mm.

SIMEX Patent ‘The independent right-left depth adjustment’ allows the slide on the opposite side of the motor to be independently height-adjusted. As a result, side-by-side planing produces perfectly flat surfaces.

Effective milling or cutting on any surface
The Simex PLB and PHD planers can mill pre-set sections on a range of surfaces, with options to adjust to different gradients and surface compaction levels. The design of the planer allows the swinging support pivot to be on the same rotation axis as the cutter drum. This enables the attachment to maintain a consistent planing surface when attached to an excavator or mini excavator.
